Charles Ickes is a technology-driven executive with a proven track record in scaling businesses at the intersection of logistics, SaaS, and AI-powered transformation. As CEO of Bergen Logistics, a global third-party logistics provider specializing in fashion, lifestyle, and omni-channel retail, Charles leads the company’s continued expansion and innovation within the Elanders Group network.
Charles also serves as CEO of CloudX, Bergen’s proprietary warehouse management system (WMS). He is spearheading CloudX’s evolution into a standalone SaaS company with global reach—leveraging automation, data, and AI to redefine modern fulfillment operations.
With over 20 years of leadership experience, Charles brings deep expertise in scaling high-growth organizations. He engages actively with corporate boards, investors, and executive teams to shape long-term strategy across technology-driven logistics and supply chain optimization.
Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Florida Gulf Coast University and has pursued executive education at MIT, Harvard Business School, and UMass Boston. He is currently completing an MBA at Montclair State University.
In addition to his executive leadership, Charles has contributed to the broader community through board service. From January 2022 to April 2023, he served as a Board Member at Spectrum Works, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive workforces by providing job training and employment opportunities to individuals with autism. Under his leadership, Bergen Logistics became a proud supporter of Spectrum Works, partnering to build meaningful career paths for neurodiverse individuals at its facilities.
Charles also serves as an advisory board member at Pietra Studios, a VC-backed eCommerce startup, and previously held a board role with New London Partners, a real estate investment firm.
