Gothenburg, Sweden \u2013 June 25, 2025 \u2013 Elanders Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Ickes<\/strong> as Chief Operating Officer (COO)<\/strong>, effective immediately. Charles will continue in his current roles as CEO of Bergen Logistics<\/strong> and CEO of CloudX Systems<\/strong>, adding the COO position to support the strategic alignment and operational integration of Elanders’ global supply chain network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As COO, Charles will be responsible for enhancing operations’ scalability, efficiency, and cohesion across Elanders’ global logistics and supply chain subsidiaries. This role builds on his success in leading Bergen Logistics\u2019 growth across North America and CloudX<\/a>\u2019s evolution into a next-generation warehouse management platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCharles brings a unique combination of operational rigor, digital innovation, and commercial acumen,\u201d said Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Elanders Group. \u201cHis leadership will be instrumental in building a unified, technology-driven logistics platform with global reach.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles will focus on driving profitable and sustainable growth across the Elanders Supply Chain Network, harmonizing technology infrastructure, and enabling AI-powered, data-driven operations throughout the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
